1. Children's Privacy & Zero Personal Data (COPPA)

We fully comply with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR-K, and global child privacy standards:

• No Account Required: All 9 mini-games and curriculum guides are immediately playable without registration, logins, or submitting personal information.
• Zero Child PII: We do not collect names, email addresses, physical addresses, photos, voice recordings, or personal device identifiers from children.
• No Social Features: There is no chat, messaging, or user sharing. Children cannot contact others or publicly share information.

2. Product Analytics & COPPA Hardening (PostHog)

We use PostHog (https://posthog.com) as our privacy-focused telemetry processor to monitor game stability and feature engagement (e.g. which mini-games toddlers enjoy most). For full COPPA child-directed compliance, PostHog is strictly hardened:

• No Session Replays (disable_session_recording: true): Full session recording is permanently disabled. We never record screen interactions, mouse/touch movements, or toddler gameplay sessions.
• Cookie-Less Persistence (persistence: 'memory'): We do not store persistent tracking cookies in the child's browser. Session tokens are held solely in temporary memory and evaporate when the browser tab closes.
• No Tracking Profiles (identified_only): Configured strictly with person_profiles: 'identified_only'. Because players have no accounts, PostHog never creates persistent profiles or tracks children across web visits.
• Aggregated Technical Telemetry: Records only non-identifying events (e.g. game mode selected, meal plate completed) and general device platform (browser/OS) to detect crashes.
• Never Sold or Shared: Telemetry is used exclusively to maintain Wonderland Games and is never shared, sold, or used for commercial behavioral advertising. See PostHog Privacy Policy.

3. Advertising & Cookies (Google AdSense)

We display family-safe ads through Google AdSense to keep our games free for families and preschools worldwide.

• Child-Directed & Non-Personalized (NPA): Ad tags are marked with data-tag-for-child-directed-treatment="1" and data-tag-for-under-age-of-consent="1". Ads are contextual only—never based on personal interests, browsing history, or behavioral tracking.
• Filtered Content: Adult, dating, gambling, and sensitive ad categories are permanently blocked.
• Operational Cookies: Cookies are used strictly for frequency capping and fraud prevention. Learn more at Google Privacy & Terms or manage preferences via Google Ads Settings.
• Ad-Free Option: Families can optionally remove all ads by joining our voluntary Buy Me a Coffee supporter club.

4. Local Device Storage

We use your browser's local storage (localStorage) strictly to remember in-game preferences locally on your device: sound on/off, voice narration toggle, language choice, and supporter ad-free status. This information never leaves your browser and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.
